Border Security Crisis
Dose of reality for everyone…
The open southern border is a real security crisis for the United States.
I don’t care how you feel about immigration. I don’t care how you feel about immigrant workers. I don’t care how you feel about “anchor babies”. I don’t care how you feel about unregistered voters. That’s not my concern right now.
What I am concerned about, and what we should all be concerned about, is the security of our nation against real terrorist threats.
Literally thousands, tens of thousands, of people are coming across our southern border on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Everyone in the world knows. Everyone in the world is watching. People are moving, on foot, from South and Central America to our southern border to try to cross into the United States. Some of those are legitimate asylum seekers. Some of those are individuals and families looking for a better life. Some of those are gang members from organizations like MS-13. Some are carrying drugs. Some are just violent criminals and human traffickers looking to exploit opportunities in the United States.
Some of them are fucking terrorists. That’s not a lie. It’s not an exaggeration. Two known terrorists were picked up by the border patrol in the last few days. How many more do you think are out there? Or have already gotten through?
Al Queda, ISIS, Iranian Quds Force. You name it. They are watching and they are looking for opportunities to attack the United States. Those plans are already in motion. Once they get across the border, how easy do you think it is to “disappear” inside the United States? Obey the speed limit. Pay in cash. Stay off the internet. Stay off the phone. It’s not that difficult, it just takes some discipline.
And let me tell you, those people have discipline. And they have motivation. And they have funding. They just needed opportunity. Our open southern border is providing them that opportunity.
Just because we decided the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are over, doesn’t mean the terrorist organizations around the world agreed. The war is still going on for them. They still hate America. They still hate the west. It doesn’t matter who is in office, or what city you live in, or what your personal politics are. This isn’t a scare tactic. This is real life.
Hundreds of thousands of veterans served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and a host of other countries over the last twenty plus years. Ask us if the threat is real. Ask if these organization and individuals have the capability to exploit the border and attack inside the United States. We know what these people are capable of. We’ve seen it, firsthand. These people have some serious game. They can bring it if they want. Most of us were fighting against low-level, local shitbags. Some of us came into contact with some heavy hitters. This isn’t a joke.
If you really think that with tens of thousands of undocumented individuals crossing our border on a daily or weekly basis doesn’t have the potential to be exploited by a global terror network, you are fooling yourself.
The question you need to ask is, are you willing to risk your safety, your family’s safety, and the safety of your friends, co-workers, and neighbors to support what our administration is allowing. That’s the question to ask.

But, the bottom line is, regardless of politics, we are experiencing a Border Security Crisis.
